I’m not sure that you would like this bouncing ball mp3 ringtone, because it just plays the bouncing of the ball… Dull, muffled, indistinct sound, when the ball touches the ground. I still remember the computer-animated cartoon “WALL-E” and decided to find an mp3 ringtone. I have to say that, finally, I managed to find one, but, taking into consideration that there were not so many voices in that science fiction film (mostly sounds produced by robots while they were trying to communicate), so the ringtone sounds similar I mean that it’s the sound of WALL-E’s voice when he “speaks” to EVE (it’s a she-robot and WALL-E felt in love with her). Actually, WALL-E is only an abbreviation and it means “Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-class”, in other words – he is just a robot whos aim is to clean the Earth from the mountains of waste (people didn’t live on that planet more than 700 years because of that waste, so they were just travelling in the outer space on one huge spaceship trying to find a place where it would be possible to live). But WALL-E found a plant on the planet which caused a lot of different consequences including his travelling in space, a fight for his love and the returning of people back to the Earth with the aim of renewing the life on the planet. I like the happy end of the movie

I’ve just downloaded to my cell phone one very interesting mp3 ringtone – it’s a theme melody taken from a serial drama television program, which first appearend on the air in 2003. To those, who have never watched it: it’s about one space warship, which was travelling in the outer space trying to find the thirtheenth colony – Earth. Twelve other colonies were destroyed (or it’s better to say “annihilated”) by Cylons – the creatures, or robots, which/who at first were created as workers, but soon they rebelled against their masters (humans) and began the war (and also created 12 different modifications of robots, which could imitate human beings even on the cellular level). So, on the warship there were those last people, who survived. By the way, these series have very nice theme melody, I mean the first melody with which the film starts. But, frankly speaking, it reminds me of some melodies which are played on TV on the news However, Battlestar Galactica theme mp3 ringtone sounds fine

Bernard Herrmann (1911-1975) was a famous American composer, who still remains one of the best soundtrack writers (actually, he doesn’t write them now, of course, but his former works are sometimes used in new movies). When he was a child, his father was always taking him to the opera, that’s why he decided to start learning music (expecially violin). At the age of 13 he won $100 prize and later decided to went to New York University. Having only 20 years, he formed his own orchestra – The New Chamber Orchestra of New York. Nowadays Bernard Herrmann is mostly known for his collaboration with Alfred Hitchcock. One of his best works is a score for a film “Psycho” (for the shower episode, which at first should have had no music accompaniment). But namely this music became the most popular of Herrmann’s works. “Psycho” was a thriller and shower music used only the string section (screeching violin), whch was rather unusual for such movies. Celine Dion’s song “Taking Chances” was included into the album with the same name, which was released in 2007 on CD and DVD. Actually, it’s already a 35th album of Celine Dion and at the same time her thirteenth English language album. The songstress was born in Canada (she is French-speaking), became a singer and actress (she starred in “Touched by an Angel” – it’s a good movie without any doubt). She proved herself to be a great pop and rock singer. To the end of 2007 she sold almost 3.5 million copies of this album. She is extremely popular in Canada, where she even was number one on some pop-music charts. Ennio Morricone is a very talented composer. He is mainly known for his film crores arrangement (more than 500 films). Ennio Morricone is a successful composer – he sold more than 25 million records including film crores, singles and other compilations. He composed his first movie soundtrack for the film Death of a Friend, which was produced in 1959 (long time ago). In 2008 he composed and arranged scores for Capone Rising, Leningrad, The Son of Dawn movies. I’m sure that there is no such person, who has not heard Ennio Morricone soundtrack at least once in his life (I believe, that everyone watched not less than one film of this 500). “A Few Dollars More” (produced in 1965) is a Italian western film directed by Sergio Leone (Clint Eastwood starred in that movie). When I started to post on this blog I thought that it would be boring to deal all the time with the same topics, but I was mistaken!!! I was completely mistaken!!! Every day I find something interesting – different bands playing different music styles, and all of them are unique to some extent – they are different in spite of the similar style. Today I’ve downloaded an mp3 ringtone by Air. It’s a French music band playing electronica, downtempo, ambient, and trip hop. Actually, it’s a duo – Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel. Their style is unique – personally I don’t remember another band playing the same music. And this mp3 People In The City ringtone is calm and pleasant, and very relaxing. Besides, you can feel that some psychedelic rock bands influenced Air (for example, Pink Floyd). Anyway, this ringtone is great!

James Bond 007 – the hero, which was created by Ian Fleming. I read a few books about James Bond, but I can’t say that books (as it is almost always considered) are better than movies. I saw no difference between movie and book at all – the same expression of characters, the same pictures could have been imagined in your mind without the help of movies, having only read words from the book. Of course, it was interesting to watch movie, but one of the most valuable thing in that film was one soundtrack – that mysterious one, when you hear the sounds of the guitar and horn (it was played as a background music almost always before every episode, full of danger, when James Bond was sneaking somewhere with a gun in his hand). It is long time ago I watched Hercules cartoon – one of the best Disney cartoons I’ve ever watched. The most unforgettable things were the soundtracks to the cartoon. I tried to find them on CD, but all my attempts failed very soon. And now I’ve got the best soundtrack of the whole film on my cell phone I’m really happy, but I couldn’t keep myself in hand and decided to watch the video again It really raises my spirits. It has soothing, calming, restful, reassuring melody and the song is sang with a pleasant voice. This animated film was released in 1997 and at once become pupular not only among children, but also among grow-ups. And only recently I found out, that this soundtrack was included into the green disc of Disney’s Greatest Hits.

Today I downloaded Underworld’s “Dinosaur Adventure 3D” mp3 ringtone, but was a little bit disappointed, cause I expected it, at first, to be some strange sounds from the other world (for example, from Hell full of burning hot red lava, with dinosaurs’ outcries and so on). But it turned out to be a British electronic music band (it’s a duet of Karl Hyde and Rick Smith). Actually, this band have nothing to do with nature sounds, but deals with such genres as electronic, techno, progressive house, progressive trance, alternative dance (which may, of course, sometimes use nature sounds in their tracks). “Dinosaur Adventure 3D” was included into the album “A Hundred Days Off” released in 2002. However, “Dinosaur Adventure 3D” mp3 ringtone is not bad.
